The Goshen Project is ministry of Christ Central and it is moving to Wagener, SC. Some of the facets of the ministry include establishment of a Christian:
Healing Ministry Center; Retreat/Renewal Center; and a Restoration Program for Christian leaders.
Also, currently ongoing ministries of Goshen include:

the establishment of an ecumenical Christian community that is semi-monastic; a Christian crisis response ministry; a pro-active teaching and equipping ministry that includes preparing missionaries for services in mission stations.
We are interested in partnering with all the churches who participate in Churches Together For Kids, as well as others. The community celebrates Holy Eucharist in the Rodman Building, 101 East Railroad Avenue, on Sundays at 10 AM. The offices of Goshen are also located there.

In order to focus on staff development during the 2007-2008 school year, the Wagener-area schools will have an "Early Release" schedule on the second Wednesday of the month, except August and May.

Dates for early release are:

Sept. 12, Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Dec. 12, Jan. 9, Feb. 13, March 12, and April 23.

The release times are:

Busbee Elementary - 12:34 PM

A.L. Corbett Middle School - 12:40 PM

Wagener-Salley High School - 1:00 PM

Wagener Pregnancy Care Center offers free pregnancy tests, prenatal classes and parenting classes. The WPCC has resources to help teach purity as a way of life. Office hours are Mondays from 9 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. For more info contact 564-9722.

Fifth through eighth grade girls are invited to Pure Hearts Club from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and ninth through 12th grade girls are invited to Pure Hearts from 10:30 a.m. to noon every third Saturday of each month, located at the CTFK/WPCC office at 231 Main St. S., Wagener. Pure Hearts Clubs are a great avenue for girls to come together from around the community and fellowship, have Bible study and learn how to deal with pressures they will be and are being faced with concerning purity.

Brave Hearts

Brave Hearts meets the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon at the CTFK office. Brave Hearts is for boys in 6th through 12th grades and gives them the opportunity to get help and to see real men's lives being role modeled.
