At this week's Town Council Meeting, the town honored Reverend Philip and Emily Ann Turner for all they have done for our town during their time at FBC Wagener. Reverned Turner and his wife Emily Ann came to town in 2010, and they have definitely left their mark on our community. We will always appreciate them and wish them the best on their new endeavors.
Emily Ann Turner has assisted the town in getting various grants over the years, and has contributed significantly to making the town of Wagener a better place because of her efforts to gain grants. Reverend Philip Turner has been active in the community through his ministry at First Baptist Church as well as his own personal concern and caring of all others.
To honor them, The Wagener Town Council proclaims the week of December 8 - December 14, 2014 as Reverend Philip and Emily Ann Turner week!
