Wagener Women's Well Prepares for 2010

The Wagener Women's Well, a Christ Central Ministry, was started to give women in our community a place to gather, praise God, share talents, and give instructions to help others learn new skills.  Our mission is to give encouragement to those who are in need of a "better hope" in life and to help build confidence and trust through the leadership skills of caring mentors.

We are open 9-3 every Tuesday and Thursday except holidays.  Join us for a soup lunch on Tuesdays or a covered dish lunch on Thursdays.

We'll resume activities in January 2010 with Bible studies on Monday nights where Deannie Shelton will lead Beth Moore's study on Esther.  Bible studies on Thursday mornings will be held by Janice Johnson studying "Knowing the Will of God."  Sewing and quilting will also resume for those who want to learn or just use our equipment.

The Women's Well welcomes women of all races, cultures and ages to experience the love of God.

Hometown Holiday was an Excellent Weekend

Wagener's annual Hometown Holiday Weekend was a great success.  Thank you to all who worked hard to make this a great time for so many people.  Thank you to everyone who participated, worked and attended.  Wagener is a great community and we enjoy the fellowship and celebration times when so many people come out to relax, have fun and visit together.  Merry Christmas to all and we're looking forward to another New Year together.

Coat & Food Drive

Faith Ministries and Churches Together for Kids Ministries are joining together to help fight hunger and provide warmth to our community.  We invite you to join us and these two local mission projects that will bless our community.  We are asking for donations of canned or boxed food, dry beans, grits, cereal, peanut butter, any non-perishable food item.  We are collecting new and nearly new winter coats for all ages.  You may drop off your donations at the "Mission House" located on Yaspen Drive next to Furniture Plus and Piggly Wiggly or contact us and we will arrange a pick up. ~ Jack Atkinson and Cindy Blizzard.  Click here for more info.
