Each town will have designated spots for rent. Each town sets their own pricing and layout. If you are interested in participating, please reach out to your town hall or the contact below.  Setting up along the path of the yard sale and residents within the towns are encouraged to participate.  ** Contact has been made with all the towns below. The ones with #'s listed confirmed, others are pending, please reach out to your town hall to encourage participation.

Space Heater Safety Tips from New Holland VFD

With the cold weather approaching us next week. 
Here are some tips for using a space heater safely:
Placement
Keep space heaters at least three feet away from furniture, drapes, or other flammable items. 

Place them on a level surface to prevent tipping. 

Usage
Only use space heaters for a limited time and never leave them unattended, especially when you go to bed. 

Space heaters can't regulate temperature well for long periods. 

Plugging
Plug space heaters directly into a wall outlet, and don't use extension cords. Extension cords can overheat and cause a fire. 

Safety features
Look for a space heater with safety features like a tip-over switch, overheat sensor, and touch sensor. 
Inspection

Before using a space heater each year, inspect it for damage like loose connections or broken plugs. If it's damaged, replace it instead of trying to repair it. 

Children and pets
Keep children and pets away from space heaters and never leave them unattended in a room with a space heater. 

Water
Keep electric heaters away from water and never use them near a sink or in the bathroom. 

Kerosene heaters
Never use an unvented kerosene heater.

ATHLETIC SECURITY REMINDERS & CLEAR BAG PROCEDURES

To ensure the safety of our athletic events, please be aware of the following:
• ACPSD has a Clear Bag Procedure for athletic events. 
• Reentry is not allowed. Should an individual exit a stadium or athletic facility, a new ticket for reentry will be required for reentry. 
• These are school-sponsored events; behavioral expectations & the Code of Conduct apply.
• Students in eighth grade and below must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older.
• High school students must show identification or PowerSchool to verify grade level if unaccompanied by a supervising adult.
