Stop in anytime to meet Erin Beaudry, a Family Nurse Practitioner, who has a love for rural health and serving the under-served. Beaudry has a goal to open up the lab in the back that formerly was a little emergency room. It has been gutted and will become full-service as permits are secured. She would like this to be a little treatment area where she could give a nebulizer treatment, shots, pap smears and more.
Erin Beaudry completed her undergraduate work at Rhode Island College in 1994. She worked in a Cardiac Unit, in an ICU and ER until she went back to school at the University of Rhode Island for her Master’s Degree. Beaudry then worked at a VA hospital in the orthopedic surgery department, but didn’t feel that was her niche. Because she felt a strong desire to work with people who are under-served, Beaudry went to work at an indigent clinic for a year, confirming her heart for rural health and the under-served.
