The Wagener Police Department, along with a SLED agent, participated in Freeze Pops and Fingerprints at the Oakwood Apartments on Tuesday, June 7th. They spoke with several Oakwood residents and children. The event topics were internet safety and sex predators on the internet along with fingerprinting of children for ID purposes. The children learned some great information about internet safety and cyber bullying while their parents left with a sense of security from having them complete their own fingerprint ID cards. There were 26 residents in attendance.
