Book Sale at Library
The Nancy Bonnette library is having a paperback book sale from September 8 - 18 during normal opening hours. The books will be on sale for 4/$1.00 or a bag of books for $10.00.
See You at the Pole, National Event
Today's the National See You at the Pole, a student-led public high school prayer event. Students, Faculty, Parents and friends are invited to meet at the school's flagpole at 7:00 a.m. or whenever you arrive. There will be a student-led prayer and then individual prayer time, as well as group prayer times. This is simply a time to gather together and pray for our schools, students, local and national public leaders and anything else you feel led to pray about. #neverstoppraying #syatp

Aiken County Public School's first day of the 14/15 school year is August 18.
Senior Adult Trip to Greenville
The Courtney Center Trip to Greenville, SC will be on October 9, 2014. They will visit Pretty Place Chapel & Ceasar's Head. Money is due Oct. 1, $30 per person. More Information.
Hot Dog Block Party
Swing by our new Green Space across from FBC on Main Street Wednesday, July 3oth at 6:30 pm for a free hot dog, chips and drink provided by First Baptist Church. Visit with your neighbors and make some new friends in this "Block Party" type social hour. The church has a playground in back if you'd like to take your children over to play awhile as well.

Summer Camp at Roy Warner Park
Roy Warner Park will be offering a one week, half day summer camp for children 6 - 12 years old in the Wagener area. 8 am - 12 pm, July 7 - 11, 2014. The fee for camp is $30.00 per child. Bring your kids for crafts, games and more! Contact Carolyn Rushton at the park, 803.564.5211.
