Town Council meetings, open to the public, are held on the first Monday of each month, 6:00 pm at the former Wagener Medical Center.
If you are a citizen and speaking under citizens input, you MUST sign up at the door before entering and limit to 3 minutes. If you are speaking more than 3 minutes or have something to present it must be put on the agenda. It will need to be submitted to the Town Hall before 5pm on Thursday, the week before the meeting. It may be submitted by email, phone, or in person.

We are excited to see the Wagener Fire Department resume services under the leadership of Hendrik Swanepoel. Many new voluteer firefighters have been brought into the department. If you are interested in volunteering, file an application at town hall or at the fire department any time the bay doors are open.

ACTS will be distributing food in Wagener on Saturday, September 20th. Distribution for the Senior Citizens will be held at the Wagener United Methodist Church from 8:00 - 9:30. Distribution for everyone else will be held at the new high school, 326 Seivern Road starting at 10:00. Carline begins at Staley Drive entrance. Stay in your car and follow the instructions of the volunteers. Must meeet eligibility requirements.

Tere will be a mayoral candidate debate at the Courtney Senior Center Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 7:30 pm. You are welcome to bring a dessert to share. Coffee will be provided. Persons running for the council seats will have 5 minutes to speak.
Voting will be held at the Courtney Center on Nov. 4th from 7 am - 7 pm. Two council seats are to be decided as well.
