It was with a heavy heart that we heard about the passing of Mrs. Virginia Tillison on Dec. 8, 2019. Her beloved husband, C.D. Tillison passed away in May of this same year. They were together for 67 years and apart just a few months. The Tillisons were active in the community and were known for their attention to culture and beauty. Their marriage endured two house fires and is a classic romantic tale of a country boy who falls in love with a city girl. A Celebration of Life Service was held on December 13, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Wagener. The family received friends following the Service in the church sanctuary.
