The newest addition to the Wagener Fire Department arrived Friday, October 30th, a 2009 Pierce 1250 Pumper purchased from Spartan Fire Equipment out of Spartanburg. The Pumper, which holds 1,000 gallons of water, is a welcome addition to Wagener's current fleet of 2 Pumper/Engines, 1 Service Truck, 1 Brush Fire Unit with pumping capacity, a 2,000 gallon Tanker and the First Reponder's Command Vehicle.
